I have already read and liked Warlord by Illario Pantano, Band of Brothers, One Shot One Kill by Carlos Hathcock, White Feather, The Road to Fallujah, and a few others. I don’t care what era, just not civil war. Please gimme some goodies! I like lots of shootin’ too! Thanks for your help!

Try Ender’s Game. I had a hardtime putting it down. I read chapters at a time. And normally, I don’t like to read.
It is about the space age in the future.
You might check out a little book called To Hell and Back, the autobiography of Audie Murphy. He was the most decorated hero of WW2, receiving all medals that the US awarded, including the Medal of Honor. He did a couple brave things, like holding off 240 Germans and their tanks…..single handedly.
A true hero is worth reading about.
