I’ve read Carolyn Grays A red tainted silence, and am so in love with the book that i’m searching for similar novels. Do you have any suggestions?

I’m looking for some novels (preferred romance) to read for Summer Break. I’d like longer novels. I don’t want novels with Vampires,Werewolves, etc, etc.

I absolutely adore romance stories, but most novels seem to be a bit cheesy. Especially the ones with the big buff guy on the cover. I also like fantasy and sci fi. So a combination of the two would be lovely. I would like Twilight, but the description of the vampires in that are a bit silly. Sparkling and everything.
Any suggestions would be great.

I came across a Novel "Trial By Fire: The Firefighters of Station 5" by Jo Davis. I loved it and so I read the 4 sequels following it. I’ve read them all twice and I can’t seem to find another novel about a romantic firefighter hero.

I also read "Just One of The guys" by Kristan Higgins. It was really good and I highly recommend all women read it.

Does anyone know of any novels like this?

Any suggestions please? Preferably very well known novels that I can find at the library.

I love Jane Austen’s novels, and Philippa Gregory’s I absolutely adore, just to give you a vague idea of what I like. And I’m only 16 so perhaps nothing too complex or hard to read either =P
Ones that are more about love, than just pure sex and desire also would be preferred.

I already know of the novels Fallen and Hush Hush so please don’t say those. I want something involving an angel or demon falling in love with a human.

I’ve read a few, and they are honestly the only books i find really interesting. I’ve read Twilight, all of the Sarah Dessen novels, and recently just finished Perfect Chemistry, Which i loved (so if you know of any novels like perfect chemistry please let me know!) I’ve tried older, adult authors and i just like reading ones that are closer to my age group. Thanks for any suggestions!(:
