Nothing supernatural. I’m sick of that. I want stuff like Meg cabot, Sarah Dessen, and Elizabeth Scott (I’ve read all of their books already, tho). I’m looking for some novels in this genere: Historical romance, society-based novels. Examples: Pride and Prejudice (or any Austen novel), The Season, Outlander, A Great and Terrible Beauty. I’m not really looking for smut novels, although some are decent reads – so don’t hesitate to recommend them.
Also I’ve read the Luxe series and it has the same basic feel that I enjoy.

Just asking out of curiosity. I’ve noticed that it’s usually chicks and occasionally feminine/gay men that read those types of novels.

Is my observation a good one or am I just unbelievably ignorant?

I love supernatural romances and I’ve been in search of finding some new ones. I’ve read a lot but I don’t quite remember all of them. To be certain though I’ve read Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter novels.

Also, do not recommend Twilight or Anita Blake novels. I’ve attempted to read both and ended up hating both.

Any suggestions?
