I love MIstress of Rome, Heretic Queen, the Luxe series, all Deanne Gist novels, what else is out there?

Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset is good. It’s set in 14th century Norway, and won the author a Nobel Prize.
Philippa Gregory is a good popular historical romance author. Her Tudor series is good if you’re just looking for entertainment.

You’d probably enjoy Diana Gabaldon’s "Outlander" series. It’s very long, but good fun.
