What are some healthy foods to eat for meals?
I’m looking for healthy meals that are 250 calories or less per serving that help you lose weight, does any body have any ideas? or are there any good cook books that might have them?

I’m a huge huge fan of Jamie’s show. Just love his passionate way about cooking.
Question: I’m a complete newbie, the only thing I’m good in "Cooking" is scrambled eggs ( not one f**ken word; lol ), do you reckon if I got any of Jamie’s books it’ll do me any good ? is it easy to follow ?
Which one should I buy ?

Ok so I just spent days upon days creating my own 4 x 6 recipe cards and copying every single recipe out of my mom’s cook book and then I go online to look for a cook book with 4 x 6 inch slots…there’s maybe 2 that I found and they’re lame. Does anyone know where to go for a good selection of blank cook books that have photo slots?
woohoo! Recipe organizer…theres the one thing I never typed into the search box. Thanks Violet. That might give me more of a selection.
I recently bought some mustard oil and I made some Panch Phoran, both of which are sooo tasty, but I can’t seem to find very many recipes that use them, can some one recommend a cook book with some recipes that use those ingredients? I would really also like an authentic Bengali dal recipe. Actually I would take any recommendations for any type of AUTHENTIC Indian food cook books or websites, again though the key word is Authentic.
I’m looking for diabetic cook books that have recipes that help avoid raising sugar levels. I have a family member who’s going to come stay with us for a while, and I want to make foods they can eat. The problem is, I’m usually very busy so something easy to make would be best. I tried just looking up cook books, but I got confused about gluten free recipes, vs not gluten free (read it in some of the reviews that some recipes in the books were not good because of it) I guess it has to do with the type of diabetes, so now I’m not sure what to look for. I just know they have to watch their sugars, and take insulin, so meals that will help with that would be great.
Thanks for any suggestions!
I have a 3 month old baby and I need to know some fast and easy recipes for some homemade cooking for me and my hubby. I have looked in cook books but they always have weird ingredients and they can be so complicated. Please help.
She’s a student, and she loves to bake. She already has an assortment of bake/cook books, so I don’t know what to get her! I’d like to surprise her with something thoughtful (not too expensive; preferably under !)
I’m new to vegan-ism, and i’m trying vegan friendly recipes I find in cook books, but I cant afford all of these special ingredients like hemp seeds and arrow root. where can i find substitutes for these or a more budget friendly cookbook?
I was just wondering what good books there are for somewhat inexperienced people not wanting to break the bank. For example, Uni students.
