Books For Children Archives

I like the older fairy tales like before 1968, Hans Christian Anderson, Grimm’s.

Where my son goes to school, they have computer tests that go with books they read (accelerated reader/reading counts). The classroom also has a ‘quiz’ that is comprised of written questions that are to be answered with sentences that matches to a particular book. Any ideas? Thanks.
I am thinking more for brushing up skills over the summer. My son sometimes struggles with comprehension and writing complete sentences. I thought it would help.

I know his children books have been recognized for their deeper meanings and hidden messages, but I have not come across a love story or a book that contains a minor love story in it by him.

My stories will be for first or second grade, maybe second, forshure lower.

The material I have come up with so far; A science book for 6-7 year olds. Another one for 7-8 year olds. A phonics and letters workbook for 4 year olds. How should I format them to show them to the publisher. How do I approach the publisher? I am a physician and have never had any of my work published.

What are some good chess books for children?

I am looking for a chess book to offer my 7yr old nephew, that is entertaining and does more than just teach how the pieces move, but goes into Why they move and When they should be moved.
Thanks!

Or to help them learn to read. Some names of some books would be helpful too. I have heard to get books that are repetitive. I remember the little books like "We see"

I have to compare those two books and I would like to know :
1. If you think Percy Jackson is only for children
2. If you think Harry Potter is only for children
3. If PJ could be more for adults
4. If HP could be more for adults
5 If both of them are for children or for adults

And why ? (I wanted to create a survey but I don’t know if it’s possible)

and i also want sites that sell chrildren books for less.

I’m looking for books about children living in a post-apocalyptic world. like the Fire-us trilogy.
oh how funny! I’ve already read City of Ember, and The Giver books lol. guess I should have been more specific in my question lol.
